Career of Destiny

My path to North End Real Estate began three generations before me.

Let’s take a quick stroll back in (Tacoma) time.

At the turn of the 20th century, Tacoma’s industrial prowess was full-steam and the demand for residential housing increased.  The roots of Tacoma were initially that of large trees, needing to be removed for future lots. My great-grandfather Keely drove a team of oxen - pulling those stumps and clearing a new way for Tacoma’s foundation.

Simultaneously and coincidently, my Great-Grandfather Evald Johnson worked as a concrete specialist, literally building that same foundation throughout Tacoma, solid for decades to come.

In 1949 my Grandfather Jerry Keely constructed his own home, nestled in the North End neighborhood surrounding the current University of Puget Sound campus (est. 1924). This was the house that my father grew up in and the neighborhood where he would find love, eventually leading to my brother and me.  What a ride!

So, here I am – a fourth generation Keely from Tacoma, Washington, bursting with pride for this community. From outdoor activities, local restaurants (take-out too!), to the Tacoma real estate buzz, I can be a resource for you.  I’ve lived here my whole life and enjoy sharing my experiences with clients, giving them a broader perspective of what Tacoma is to me and what it could be for them.
